Dodie Wrocklage-Harp made her first appearance in the 2017 Déjà Vu Art and Fine Craft Show, and she won the Best of Show Award as well as the Artist's Design Challenge prize. Taking her inspiration from nature, the Fairdale, Kentucky artist likes to combine found, natural objects such as cicada wings, stones, and seeds with sterling silver. A juried member of the Kentucky Arts Council-Kentucky Crafted Program, Dodie was recognized for her jewelry, which is of the highest quality. *Molly Hendricks*
Molly Hendricks creates one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings using sea glass. This is a material made of glass that's been washed out to sea, and the action of the waves in the ocean naturally tumbles it to smooth the edges. The Cincinnati artist uses the shape, colors, and other features of the sea glass to inspire her designs, and each focal piece is enhanced with beads that are mostly semi-precious. *Sandy Walker*
One day, while cleaning her artist's palette, Sandy Walker discovered an unusual way to make jewelry. She found that dried, acrylic paint was a wonderful, lightweight material to use in her creations. Besides the painted shapes, Sandy combined them with other items, such as handmade paper beads or artist canvas. The Alexandria, Indiana jewelry artist likes to work on more than one thing at a time. Her layering method results in abstract pieces, and Sandy claims "the work is done when it says it's done." 	Featured here is a robin egg blue necklace made from upcycled paint from her artist's palette. The piece started with a 2" diameter circular slice of dried acrylic paint, and it was layered, designed, and embellished. Glass beads in the same color family were added for interest. Suspended from an 18" strand of harmonious beads.	Autumn bracelet upcycled artist palette. Autumn is 8" in length and embellished with vintage copper and green beads that harmonize with the autumnal colors.	Espresso dangles upcycled artist palette. They start with a 1 1/2" textured and veriegated slice of acrylic paint which has been peeled from the artist palette. They are yummy and rich like a good cup of coffee.
